TERMS OF USE
Last updated: October 18, 2026
By using Burna you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Who can use Burna
You must be 18 or older and able to form a binding agreement. Pools are only available where they are allowed by law. You are responsible for following the rules where you live.
Points have no cash value
Pools in Burna run on points. Points have no cash value. They cannot be bought, sold, transferred, or exchanged for money, gift cards or anything of value, inside or outside the app.
How pools work
- You spend points (50, 100 or 200, set by the pool) to join a pool. Each pool has a calorie goal and a scoring window. The person who creates a pool joins it free.
- Only qualifying workouts recorded in Apple Health during the scoring window count.
- When a pool ends, everyone who reached the calorie goal shares the pot of points equally. Players who did not reach the goal lose the points they put in. If nobody reaches the goal, the points are not paid out to anyone.
- The creator of a pool receives 10% of its pot, in points, when the pool ends.
- Your rank in the app follows your points balance and can go up or down.
- A pool with too few players may be cancelled, and entry points returned.
Fair play
Do not manipulate your health data, use multiple accounts, or otherwise cheat. You can dispute a workout in the app. We may remove results, reverse points, or suspend accounts for cheating or abuse. Our decisions on disputes are final.
Health notice
Burna is not medical advice. Talk to a doctor before starting an exercise program. Exercise at your own risk and stop if you feel unwell. Do not push yourself to unsafe levels to chase a goal.
Your account
Keep your sign-in secure. You can delete your account in the app at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms.
Disclaimers and limits
Burna is provided "as is" without warranties. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any loss of points. Nothing here limits rights you have under law that cannot be waived.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
